A new homeless shelter located at 1805 County Road 2 has officially opened its doors and has already welcomed residents.
The facility was originally an administration building for the pollution-control plant, which was then became a dorm for Fulford Academy from 2020-24.

Now, the building will be used for supportive housing, providing 24 new spaces for people experiencing homelessness who are looking to take the next step to find permanent housing.
