GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - He led the Feds on an international manhunt, lost his medical license after admitting to health care fraud, and now he’s accused of committing crimes through a Greenville business.
Mark Weinberger, once a renowned sinus surgeon, was indicted by a federal grand jury in Greenville last week on multiple counts of health care fraud and wire fraud.
According to court documents, the crimes tied to the Upstate occurred less than five years after Weinberger was released from federal prison for his previous crimes that made headlines around the world.
