Ahead of the 59th Annual CMA Awards, our favorite country music stars are feeling nostalgic. And they're telling their stories in "Center Stage: Countdown to the CMA Awards - Special Edition of 20/20."

Hosted by Luke Bryan, the special takes viewers on a journey through Music City's legendary stages.

In the trailer for the special, seen in the video player above, Kenny Chesney visits one of the downtown Nashville bars on Lower Broadway where he played at the beginning of his career.

"I sat on a stool a lot like this one and I sat and played four hours a night with a tip jar in front of me. God, it was so much fun," he said.

Lauren Alaina, Gabby Barrett, Dan + Shay, Russell Dickerson and Keith Urban also reflect on Music City's most historic stage, the Grand Ole Opry.
