Rumors suggested that the Patriots were eyeing several wide receivers before the Nov. 4 NFL trade deadline, but New England ultimately decided against making any moves.

One of the receivers New England possibly pursued was Chris Olave of the New Orleans Saints, who ultimately wasn’t traded to any team.

Olave has one more year remaining on his contract after this season, and the Patriots might consider trading for him in the upcoming offseason. However, it seems that he’s not willing to leave New Orleans anytime soon.

“It’s in the works,” Olave said on Friday about a contract extension during “Up & Adams”. “I want to be in New Orleans forever.”
