FONDA — Street and Water Commissioner Christopher Weaver has retired, but he will continue working for the village of Fonda part time.

The Board of Trustees on Monday formally acknowledged Weaver’s retirement with a resolution of “appreciation” for his 14 years of service. His retirement took effect on Friday.
