"Not authorized": CMPD says it won’t participate in Charlotte ICE or CBP operations

CMPD clarified that they do not have the authority to enforce federal immigration laws, which is the responsibility of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
