Multnomah County Circuit Judge Katharine von Ter Stegge took vigorous aim at District Attorney Nathan Vasquez — suggesting he engaged in prosecutorial misconduct by panning her prior ruling in a highly publicized reckless driving case.

The driver in question, Oscar Burrell, returned to von Ter Stegge’s courtroom Nov. 7 on a probation violation after he posted a new selfie video showing him hanging out of his car’s driver side window , with both hands off the wheel as he posed for the camera.

The judge had previously convicted 33-year-old Burrell on two counts of reckless driving and one of reckless endangerment, but acquitted him during a September trial of nine other misdemeanors, including five other counts of reckless endangerment.

She imposed a sentence of 18 months probatio
