TEXARKANA, Ar. ( KTAL/KMSS ) – A suspect wanted in connection with an aggravated kidnapping in Hooks, Texas, was arrested after a police pursuit on Thursday.

At approximately 9:30 a.m., the Texarkana, Arkansas, Police Department received a Be On the Lookout (BOLO) alert for a suspect vehicle tied to the kidnapping case.

Around 12:35 p.m., officers spotted the vehicle traveling southbound on Highway 71.

The vehicle stopped at a business in the 6800 block of North Stateline Avenue.

Officers attempted to make contact with the driver, identified as 29-year-old
