DALLAS — Dallas rapper Yella Beezy, who is under house arrest as he awaits trial for a capital murder charge, is now allowed to leave his house to go to a studio one day per week to record music, court filings show.
Yella Beezy, real name Markies Conway, is set to stand trial starting on Feb. 2, 2026, court records show, for allegedly hiring a hitman to kill his fellow rapper and former friend-turned-rival Mo3 in 2020.
A grand jury indicted Yella Beezy on a charge of capital murder while remuneration in March for allegedly paying Kewon White to murder Mo3, whose real name is Melvin Noble, in November of 2020.
Yella Beezy was released on bail March 28 after a judge reduced his bond from $2 million to $750,000, and has been under house arrest with electronic monitoring , as WFAA has
