GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - Empath Health hosted a hard hat tour and check presentation on Friday at the construction site of Marion County’s future dementia center in Ocala.

The center will feature the Nancy Renyhart Dementia Education Program, Guide Program, and an adult day center for people living with dementia.

The event highlighted the progress of the project and celebrated community partnerships and state funding support for dementia education.

The new center will serve as a regional hub for dementia education, caregiver support, and adult day programming.
