ROSENDALE, N.Y. — A Hurley woman was hospitalized Friday morning after a one-car crash on Dewitt Mills Road, police said.

The accident was reported around 11:04 a.m. Friday, Nov. 14. In an email on Friday afternoon, Ulster County Sheriff’s office Lieutenant Collin Reynolds said an 81-year-old woman, of Hurley, “struck a telephone pole which caused her vehicle to overturn.”

Reynolds said the woman was treated at the scene for a head injury and sent to HealthAlliance Hospital in Kingston “for further treatment.”

“The injuries do not appear serious at this time,” Reynolds said.
