CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- On Friday, the Charlottesville Area Technical Education Center celebrated a step towards a more sustainable future with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The project to convert CATEC’s roof to solar panels began at the start of the summer.
