PHOENIX — The Arizona Department of Transportation is scheduling closures of several high-country highways.

Here's what you need to know about Valley road closures this weekend

The first of the closures will impact drivers in southern Arizona. Starting Saturday, State Route 366, also known as Swift Trail, will be closed beginning at the end of the pavement, one-half mile past the Coronado National Forest’s Shannon Campground.

Next Thursday, a second closure will go into place. This one will impact drivers in eastern Arizona: State Route 473 between State Route 260 and Hawley Lake in the White Mountains will close for the winter on Nov. 20.
