SYRACUSE, New York (WWNY) - The Lowville Red Raiders ended the Dolgeville Blue Devils’ run of four straight Section 3 Class D football championships Friday night at the JMA Wireless Dome in Syracuse with a 38-20 win.
Red Raiders running back Cole Zubrzycki led the Lowville offense with four touchdowns in the game, which included runs of 46 and 34-yards in the 1 st quarter.
Devin Swiernik added a 61-yard punt return for a score and Ethan Myers had a 34-yard touchdown run in the 4th quarter to seal the victory.
Lowville advances to the state playoffs where it will play the Section 4 champion next Friday night at 5 p.m. at Vestal High School.
