AMES – The Iowa State women’s basketball team’s early-season non-conference schedule hasn’t posted any tough challenges. The Cyclones faced overmatched teams from St. Thomas, Southern, Sacred Heart and Valparaiso.

Iowa State’s first real test may come Nov. 16.

The 18th-ranked Cyclones (4-0) will play Norfolk State (2-2) on Sunday at Hilton Coliseum at 1 p.m. The Spartans are coming off a season that saw them win 30 games and reach the NCAA Tournament.
