SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) -Court documents reveal details in the shooting death inside a Springfield apartment complex on Wednesday night.

According to Springfield Police, at around 11:20 p.m., officers responded to the 505 apartment complex on East St. Louis for a shots-fired call on the 4th floor . Upon arrival, officers located Candise Hoskins, 28, outside the apartment building with a gunshot wound to her left leg.

Police said they discovered the victim, later identified as 21-year-old Xavier Scott, dead in a fourth-floor hallway. The victim had multiple apparent gunshot wounds, including at least one to his face.
