Suffolk County Police last night arrested the owner of a Huntington Station restaurant after discovering he was hosting illegal gambling on the premises. In response to a recent stabbing assault on October 13, 2025, Second Precinct Crime Section officers, in conjunction with New York State Liquor Authority, Town of Huntington Fire Marshal, and Town of Huntington Ordinance Inspector, conducted a SLA Inspection at La Hacienda, located at 1650 New York Avenue, at 10:56 p.m. During the inspection, patrons were observed in the basement of the establishment drinking and gambling with cards. The owner of the restaurant, Jose Reyes, 30, of Huntington Station, was arrested for Disorderly Premise, an unclassified misdemeanor in the ABC Law and issued a Field Appearance Ticket.
