ALTO, Texas — The Caddo Mounds State Historic Site in East Texas is hosting its annual Caddo Culture Day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15. This free, family-friendly event offers a unique opportunity to explore and experience the traditions, art, and history of the Caddo people.
Caddo Mounds State Historic Site has planned engaging activities, including traditional storytelling, cultural demonstrations, and hands-on workshops that allow children and families to learn more about the Caddo people––some of Texas’ earliest settlers.

Traditional Caddo cooking with Caddo Citizen Chase Kahwinhut Earles
Stickball exhibition and hands-on learning opportunities with a morning session from 10-11:30 a.m. and an afternoon session from 1-2:30 p.m. All are welcome to
