On Saturday, the Minnesota Timberwolves (8-4) host the Denver Nuggets (9-2) at the Target Center, and if you’re wondering how to catch the action live, you’ve come to the right place.
The Timberwolves posted a 124-110 win over the Sacramento Kings on Friday for their fourth straight victory. The group traded leads 10 times before pulling away for good in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Kings 32-19 in the period.
Anthony Edwards led the way with 30 points, Julius Randle scored 26 points and 11 assists and Donte DiVincenzo added 20 points, six rebounds and five assists. Edwards produced 17 points alone in the third quarter to keep the Timberwolves around in the second half.
The Nuggets reeled off their sixth straight win on Wednesday with a 130-116 victory over the LA Clippers behind a historic performance from Nikola Jokić. The three-time MVP dropped a season-high 55 points, 12 rebounds and six assists on 18-of-23 shooting from the field.
Jokić scored 25 points in the first quarter en route to his fourth career 50-point effort, the most he has scored in any period of his career. He surpassed Wilt Chamberlain for the most games of at least 35 points, 10 rebounds and five assists on 80% shooting from the field or better (7).
The Nuggets and Timberwolves are meeting for the second time this season. Denver took the first meeting on Oct. 27, snapping a four-game winning streak by Minnesota in the series.
