GREENWOOD – It was fitting that Warren Central’s defensive standouts J.J. Finch and Sean Fox got pressure on the quarterback on the final play of the Warriors 24-21 Class 6A regional win Friday over host Center Grove.

The duo had spent much of the night wreaking havoc in the Trojans backfield en route to the upset of the No. 4 team in the state. Center Grove (10-2) is not one of the state’s final four teams for the first time since 2017.
