What is an appropriate speed limit for the QEII? Vote in our daily poll

Raising speed limits in Alberta is a bad idea. There are already too many cars and big trucks fighting for every available inch of pavement. Most drivers are reaching the limit of their skill levels when driving at 110 km/h as it is. Faster speeds will only cause more collisions and more fatalities. Four lanes on the QEII between Calgary and Edmonton, and more divided highways elsewhere, are the answer. Forget the high-speed trains. Use our tax dollars wisely and fix the roads before allowing more chaos.
