TEXAS COUNTY, Mo. (KY3) -A Birch Tree man has died after a car crash in Texas County Friday night.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol , the crash occurred on Highway HH, just five miles north of Willow Springs, at around 6:40 p.m.

Troopers say a 40-year-old man, from Birch Tree, was driving south in a 2009 Chevy Silverado when it traveled off the right side of the road, impacting an embankment and a tree.

The man was later pronounced dead. He was not wearing a seatbelt, troopers said.

This is Troop G’s 29th fatality for 2025.
