Wine theft investigated: Detroit Road

An employee of Minotti’s Wine and Spirits on Detroit Road reported to police at 6 p.m. on Oct. 20 that a man had stolen a bottle of Don Julio Blanco earlier in the month, valued at $54.

The same man had just returned to the store, shoved two bottles of wine in a bag, and tried to leave. The employee confronted him and retrieved the two bottles – a bottle of Don Julio Blanco and a bottle of Don Julio Anejo valued at $67 total.

The suspect then left the store. An investigation is pending, and the store has been advised to contact the police if he returns.
