LAFOURCHE PARISH (WVUE) - Lafourche Parish deputies arrested a middle school boy after finding AI-generated images that included eight female students and two adults.

Deputies said female students told a Sixth Ward Middle School counselor about rumors of the images. School administrators and a resource officer were unable to find the pictures by the end of the day, according to deputies.

Detectives said they sought search warrants for phones and social media accounts after video of a fight on a school bus sparked outrage. The search warrants led to the discovery of the pictures, deputies said.

Authorities arrested the middle school boy they said created and shared the images.
