OSAGE COUNTY, Kan. ( WIBW /Gray News) - Kansas authorities say a domestic call in Osage County has left one man dead and multiple law enforcement officers injured.
Four law enforcement officers, three Osage County sheriff’s deputies and one Kansas Highway Patrol trooper were shot when responding to the call.
Kansas Bureau of Investigation spokesperson Melissa Underwood said the shooting occurred Saturday morning at a residence in a rural area south of Topeka.
They were all taken to area hospitals for treatment. Authorities did not immediately share their condition.
Kansas Bureau of Investigation Director Tony Mattivi said the main suspect was the man shot and killed at the scene.
