The No. 1-ranked Michigan State hockey team completed a road sweep against Notre Dame with a 3-1 win on Saturday, Nov. 15 in South Bend, Ind.

MSU is now on a nine-game winning streak after earning six points in the Big Ten standings.

Freshman forward Ryker Lee got the scoring started just 90 seconds into the first period, tipping the puck past Notre Dame goaltender Nicholas Kempf off an offensive zone pass from freshman forward Anthony Romani.

MSU maintained a one-goal lead until an opportunity on the man advantage presented itself. Senior forward Charlie Stramel delivered a pass to the front of the net where freshman forward Porter Martone gathered the puck and scored on a backhand shot past Kempf, who was sliding through his crease.
