A wreck involving a school bus carrying the Remsen St. Mary's High School girls' basketball team resulted in multiple injuries, authorities and the school are reporting.

Hinton Fire Rescue and EMS said in a Facebook posting that the fiery the collision of the bus and another vehicle occurred just before 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at the intersection of Highway 75 and County Road C-80 in rural Hinton. The school confirmed in its own Facebook posting that the bus involved was carrying the basketball team.
