JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - Operation Homefront had its annual Holiday Meals for Military event Saturday, offering meal kits and other food resources to dozens of military families.

Military families experienced a dose of fun and support at the Saturday event. The morning was filled with food, toys, resources, and crafts.

“I’m always so busy, trying to be ready to go at any time. It’s great that there’s an organization like this that can really help out and help the family, have us ready for the holidays,” said Nicholas Means, an attendee. “My wife heard about it on Facebook, and so we signed up and came out, and this has been amazing.”
