Meyer's winning time was 18:20.68.
Fairless' Andrew Hearn was the top area finisher in the boys race in a meet featuring some of the top seniors from Ohio, Michigan and Indiana.
KETTERING — Kylah Meyer's final high school cross country race was a big success.
The Louisville senior won the girls race for Team Ohio in 18:20.68 at the Mid-East Cross Country Championships on Saturday, Nov. 15. She finished just over two seconds ahead of Team Michigan's Talya Schreiber.
Meyer came in third in the Division II race at this month's OHSAA Cross Country Championships. Her All-Ohio run came on the heels on finishing 36th, 37th and 39th at state.
