BUCKSPORT -- Senate candidate Graham Platner drew hundreds to Bucksport on his latest stop of nearly 30 town halls.

Through months of campaigning, Platner says the thing he's learned most from his neighbors is the clear desire for affordability as housing, healthcare, childcare, and living expenses skyrocket.

"People are concerned about the fact that healthcare is falling apart, that their premiums are going up, they're concerned that they can't afford housing...people's dollars aren't stretching as far as they used to. Paychecks don't go as far as they used to. That's what people care about," stated Platner.
