SOUTHINGTON, Conn. (WFSB) - One person was hospitalized after a car crashed into a pole on Saturday evening in Southington.

According to police, the crash happened near 200 Flanders St.

Eversource said about 60 people were without power in the area.

Authorities could not clarify the extent of the person’s injuries.

The road remained closed while Eversource assessed the damage.

No further information was released.
