BOSTON — The No. 3 UConn men’s basketball team almost gave its fans a collective heart attack on Saturday but ultimately held on to beat No. 7 BYU in a 86-84 thriller at TD Garden in Boston.

The Huskies led by as many as 20 points in the second half and looked as though they would cruise to an easy victory.

That was until BYU forward AJ Dybantsa, a freshman sensation from Brockton, Mass. who was the top-rated recruit nationally in his high school class, lived up to the hype.
