The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday suspended former union minister from Bihar, RK Singh, along with two other leaders, citing ‘anti-party activities’.
This suspension comes a day after the National Democratic Alliance’s (NDA) landslide victory in the 2025 Bihar assembly elections.
The BJP's Bihar state headquarters in-charge, Arvind Sharma, issued a formal show-cause notice to RK Singh and two other leaders for engaging in activities harmful to the party during and around the elections.
The notice in Hindi stated, "Your activities are against the party. This falls within the scope of the discipline. The party has taken this seriously. This has caused harm to the party."
