(KBTX) - The Brazos Valley will be well-represented at the Curtis Culwell Center next week with A&M Consolidated, Leon, and Iola all winning their volleyball state semifinal matches.

Consol took down New Braunfels 23-25, 25-15, 30-28, 25-23 at the Merrell Center on Saturday to advance to their first state championship match in program history.

The Tigers will take on Highland Park next Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland in the 5A Div. I state championship match.

Leon swept Schulenburg 25-17, 25-20, 25-17 in Brenham on Saturday in the 2A Div. I state semifinals. The Cougars advance to the state championship match for the first time since 2019. They take on Nocona on Thursday at 5 p.m. at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland.
