GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Grand Rapids Police is investigating a late night shooting on Saturday the city's Southeast side.

Police say it happened in the area of Burton Street SE and Nelson Avenue SE.

One person was shot and received non-life threatening injuries.

It's unknown what led up to the shooting. Right, police say there is no suspect in custody.

Police say the shooting remains under investigation.
