CANYON, Texas (KFDA) - West Texas A&M basketball defeated Chadron State 118-83 Saturday at the First United Bank Center to remain undefeated in the South Central Regional Challenge.

The Buffaloes made 21 three-pointers in the victory, with multiple players contributing to the offensive explosion.

Fontaine Williams led the scoring with 21 points. In the second half, Williams found James Parlow Jr. for an uncontested slam dunk and later hit a three-pointer off an assist from Brock Mishak.

Freshman Camden Cowgill added 20 points, including three consecutive three-pointers in less than two minutes that extended the Buffaloes’ lead.

Amarillo High alum Zach Brown also contributed from beyond the arc, hitting a three-pointer off a pass from Kemper Jones.
