South Alabama scored four unanswered touchdowns in a 26-14 victory at Louisiana-Monroe on Saturday.
Bishop Davenport and Kentrel Bullock ran for two touchdowns each for the Jaguars, who improve to 3-7 overall and 2-4 in the Sun Belt. The Warhawks fall to 3-7, 1-5 with their sixth consecutive loss.
South Alabama trailed 14-7 at halftime but outscored ULM 19-0 in the second half. The Jaguars’ defense held the Warhawks to just 154 yards of total offense and nine first downs.
