Boden Kapke had three 3-pointers and equaled his season high with 17 points, while Donald Hand Jr. tallied 12 of his team-high 18 points in the second half as Boston College posted a 76-71 victory over Temple on Saturday afternoon in Philadelphia.

The Eagles, coming off a heartbreaking 60-59 loss to Central Connecticut State on Tuesday, posted 10-0 runs in both halves to win their first game on the road since near the end of the 2023-24 season. Their second-half run, punctuated by an Aidan Shaw basket, gave Boston College a commanding 11-point lead with 7:04 to play.

Fred Payne had 17 points after making three first-half 3-pointers for Boston College (2-2), which entered the game shooting just 24% from beyond the arc. The Eagles shot 29.6% (8 of 27) from long range to defeat Temple (2-1)
