On a busy night in the NHL, injuries took their toll across the league.
A number of players left their games with various ailments on the 13-game Saturday.
Here is a roundup of some of the injuries that came down during the night’s action.
Chicago Blackhawks captain Nick Foligno left his team’s win over the Toronto Maple Leafs after blocking a shot with his hand late in the second period.
He did not return, and Blackhawks head coach Jeff Blashill told reporters that the 38-year-old forward will miss four weeks with the hand injury.
Over in Seattle, Kraken netminder Matt Murray was pulled with 18 seconds remaining in the first period. He was ruled out by the team with a lower-body injury after appearing to tweak something as he slid over to make a save with Seattle on the penalty kill.
