Milder weather is expected to continue through to the latter weeks of November but we know winter wind and snow isn't far behind.
Samaritan House Ministries provides a warm place for the vulnerable population with no fixed address in the City of Brandon at their Safe & Warm Shelter. The 41- bed emergency shelter is designated for adults (18+) who experience occasional homelessness. The shelter is fully staffed with trained support workers and security guards who ensure safety and assistance for their clients.
And with the cooler temperatures comes the need for more than just a bed for the folks that make use of the shelter.
