LATROBE, Pa. —
Pennsylvania State Police are investigating after a domestic call turned deadly in Derry Township, Westmoreland County Saturday night.
Troopers Steve Limani and Cliff Greenfield said in a post on X that officials responded to a call of a domestic dispute with reports of a man firing gunshots along James Street. Advertisement
They said a man, who was allegedly in possession of a firearm, later died. The county coroner identified him as 28-year-old Ryan Huinker.
On Monday, Limani told Action News 4 that Huinker came outside of a home as police arrived, resulting in an exchange of gunfire. He said he did not survive as a result of the exchange.
No additional information has been released.
