Sandfly Nails and Spa collecting canned goods & non-perishables for ‘Cans of Care Drive’

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Sandfly Nails and Spa is reaching out to the community to help those in need.

Following the recent uncertainty with the government shutdown, the shop’s owners wanted to pay it forward.

The spa is hosting a food collection drive for the entire month of November, called the ‘Cans of Care Drive’.

‘Let’s come together as a community to make sure no one goes hungry.’; That’s the motto Kd Dang, the Owner at Sandfly Nails and Spa , hopes to share this month.

Dang says with Thanksgiving and fall break approaching, she sees the need there in the community.

The salon is collecting non-perishable food items and canned goods this month. Then those donations will be distributed to churches, schools, and families in need all across our area.
