BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - Happy Sunday! We’ll remain dry this evening. If you have any evening plans, expect a mostly clear sky with temperatures cooling into the lower 60s and upper 50s by 7 p.m. CST.
Leonid Meteor Shower tonight: The Leonid Meteor shower peaks tonight. It’s ideal to view the meteor shower between midnight and dawn. It’s your chance to get a peak at “shooting stars.” The 9% moonlight and mostly clear night sky make it almost ideal for viewing. There’s a chance we could see 15 to 100 meteors per hour. If you are able to capture a meteor on camera, feel free to submit it through the WBRC First Alert Weather App, so we can share it on TV.
Cooler air returns Monday: You’ll definitely want a jacket tomorrow morning. The air will end up drier with light winds in place
