A large police presence was in the area of Beach Village Circle in Palm Coast Sunday night.

At 8:35 p.m., deputies responded to Beach Village Apartments regarding a domestic disturbance in which shots were fired, according to the Flagler County Sheriff's Office.

Flagler County Fire Rescue, the Flagler Beach Fire Department, the Flagler Beach Police Department, and the Palm Coast Fire Department also responded to the incident.

According to FCSO, two individuals suffered gunshot wounds.

The 911 caller told FCSO that one individual remained inside the apartment where the gunfire took place and the other person fled the scene to a nearby convenience store.
