One local entrepreneur is going from dumpsters to batting cages with his latest venture.
Cam Morrison, the founder and former owner of home-grown dumpster rental chain Mobiledumps, is part of a team of three that recently launched Xvelo Training, a baseball and softball training facility at 4905 W. Marshall St. in Scott’s Addition.
Founded by Morrison, Brian Rotter and David Johnston, Xvelo offers mechanics and data-based swinging instruction to young baseball and softball players. The facility serves athletes ages eight to 18, from beginners to those on the track to being recruited to the next level.
