The Offspring, for me and many probably many others who grew up just past the golden age of the MTV generation, was a band that was already iconic by the time I got to listen to them. Listening to the likes to Bloodhound Gang, Sum 41, and The Offspring on my way to primary school was probably not the most appropriate decision on my mother's part, but these bands played a massive part in my formative years.

When the tickets for The Offspring and Simple Plan supporting at the AO Arena came up, I jumped at the chance. The American punk legends were here not too long ago, playing the 21,00 capacity venue just four years ago, supported by The Hives and Bob Vylan.
