UFC Fight Night 265 How to Watch

The UFC is in Qatar for the first time with a pair of lightweight contenders, as well as a former champion, at the top of the lineup.

Here's how to watch UFC Fight Night 265, where 155-pound title hopefuls headline in Doha.

Broadcast and streaming info

UFC Fight Night 265 has a main card that streams at 2 p.m. ET on ESPN+. The prelims stream on ESPN+ at 10 a.m. ET.

Stay tuned to MMA Junkie for additional broadcast details later this week.

Main event: Arman Tsarukyan

  • Record: 22-3 MMA, 9-2 UFC
  • Opponent: Dan Hooker (24-12 MMA, 14-8 UFC)
  • Division: Lightweight
  • Key wins: Charles Oliveira, Beneil Dariush, Joaquim Silva, Joel Alvarez
  • Misc.: Tsarukyan has been living that what-might-have-been life all year, ever since he was set for a lightweight title fight against then-champion Islam Makhachev, but had to pull out during his weight cut. Rather than stay next in line for a title shot against new champ Ilia Topuria (Makhachev vacated at lightweight and this past Saturday won the belt at welterweight), he’ll have to fight Hooker to try to add to his current four-fight winning streak.

Main event: Dan Hooker

  • Record: 24-12 MMA, 14-8 UFC
  • Opponent: Arman Tsarukyan (22-3 MMA, 9-2 UFC)
  • Division: Lightweight
  • Key wins: Mateusz Gamrot, Jalin Turner, Nasrat Haqparast, Paul Felder, Gilbert Burns
  • Misc.: Hooker was set for the biggest fight of his career against Justin Gaethje in March, but had to pull out with a hand injury. He’s more than three years past a rough stretch of four losses in five fights – to Dustin Poirier, Michael Chandler, new welterweight champ Islam Makhachev and Arnold Allen – and has three straight wins. But he’ll be fighting for the first time in 15 months, working off a Fight of the Night win over Gamrot in August 2024.

Co-main event: Ian Machado Garry

  • Record: 16-1 MMA, 9-1 UFC
  • Opponent: Belal Muhammad (24-4 MMA, 15-4 UFC)
  • Division: Welterweight
  • Key wins: Carlos Prates, Michael Page, Geoff Neal, Neil Magny, Daniel Rodriguez
  • Misc.: Garry, from Ireland, bounced back from the only loss of his career, against Shavkat Rakhmonov, with a big win over Prates in April – a victory that looks all the more impressive after Prates’ bonus-winning KO at UFC 322 this past Saturday.

Co-main event: Belal Muhammad

  • Record: 24-4 MMA, 15-4 UFC
  • Opponent: Ian Machado Garry (16-1 MMA, 9-1 UFC)
  • Division: Welterweight
  • Key wins: Leon Edwards, Gilbert Burns, Sean Brady, Vicente Luque, Stephen Thompson, Demian Maia
  • Misc.: Muhammad spent years chasing a title shot. He finally got it against Edwards in July 2024 and won the belt. He was set to defend it against Shavkat Rakhmonov, but had to pull out. When he fought Jack Della Maddalena, instead, he was dominated and lost the title and a decision. Now JDM is without the belt with Islam Makhachev as new champ, so a return to title contention only can happen for Muhammad with an upset of Garry.

UFC debut: Luke Riley

  • Record: 11-0
  • Opponent: Bogdan Grad (15-3 MMA, 1-1 UFC)
  • Division: Featherweight
  • Misc.: A teammate of Paddy Pimblett and Molly McCann (and fellow Qatar debutant Shaqueme Rock) in Liverpool, England, the 26-year-old Riley has eight knockouts in his 11 wins, all of which have come under the Cage Warriors banner.

UFC debut: Abdul Rakhman Yakhyaev

  • Record: 7-0
  • Opponent: Rafael Cerqueira (11-3 MMA, 0-3 UFC)
  • Division: Light heavyweight
  • Misc.: The 24-year-old Chechen has three KOs and three submissions in his seven wins. He comes to the UFC by way of a 30-second knockout on DWCS in August after time in 2024 as the Ares FC light heavyweight champion.

UFC debut: Shaqueme Rock

  • Record: 12-1-1
  • Opponent: Nurullo Aliev (10-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC)
  • Division: Lightweight
  • Misc.: Rock trains with Paddy Pimblett and Molly McCann (and fellow Qatar debutant Luke Riley) in Liverpool, England. The submission specialist has nine tapouts in his 12 victories.

UFC debut: Saygid Izagakhmaev

  • Record: 22-2
  • Opponent: Nicolas Dalby (23-6-1 MMA, 7-5-1 UFC)
  • Division: Welterweight
  • Misc.: After a 3-0 run in ONE Championship, as well as wins for Khabib Nurmagomedov’s Eagle FC, the 31-year-old Russian sambo specialist brings a five-fight winning streak to his UFC debut.

UFC debut: Marek Bujlo

  • Record: 6-0
  • Opponent: Denzel Freeman (6-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC)
  • Division: Heavyweight
  • Misc.: After Jose Luiz pulled out of their matchup this week, Bujlo will debut against a short-notice opponent in Freeman. Bujlo, from Poland, has an equal mix of knockouts and submissions on his resume – all in the first round. He started his career with three tapouts, and now will be after his fourth first-round KO in less than a year’s time.

UFC debut: Denzel Freeman

  • Record: 6-1
  • Opponent: Marek Bujlo (6-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC)
  • Division: Heavyweight
  • Misc.: Freeman gets his training reps in Colorado with the likes of Neil Magny and Muslim Salikhov. He won the LFA heavyweight title in March and now is right into the UFC. His resume also includes fights in the PFL and Titan FC.
