FAIRMONT, W.Va. (WV News) — A Fairmont man was arrested Friday after he allegedly bludgeoned a man multiple times in the head with a brick.

Christopher Paul Dingess, 48, was arrested Friday after the incident, which happened outside of Friendship Fairmont on Locust Avenue, according to a criminal complaint. Friendship Fairmont is a " mental wellness community drop-in center" that helps clients suffering from mental health or substance abuse problems.

The complaint states that upon arrival, a Fairmont police officer spoke to the victim, who was covered with blood and had multiple face wounds.
