SOUTH GLENGARRY — The local flying community is in mourning after a Cornwall Aviation student pilot was killed when the Cessna 172 he was flying collided mid-air — coincidentally with another Cornwall Aviation training plane — late Saturday morning.
“(Saturday) was a very difficult day for our aviation community,” read a Facebook post by Cornwall Aviation . “Nothing can prepare you for such tragedy. Many have reached out with thoughts and comfort and we appreciate every one of you.

The deceased pilot was a 28-year-old man from Montreal, said SDG OPP.
