Martin O’Neill is to remain in interim charge of Celtic as the club continue their search for a new manager.
Club legend O’Neill was brought back into the fold at Parkhead following the resignation of Brendan Rodgers last month.
The 73-year-old, assisted by coach Shaun Maloney, will continue to be in the dugout while the Scottish champions search for Rodgers’ permanent successor.
They travel to St Mirren on Saturday evening following the international break.
It comes as the Hoops have made Columbus Crew boss Wilfried Nancy their first choice to be their next permanent manager.
Head of football operations Paul Tisdale has been playing a major role in the search for a new manager.
Other names are being explored at this stage, but Nancy tops the list of targets for the Parkhead club.
